Hey Everyone Kayla here from Yup Video. So, let’s talk about Social Media! Almost Everyone you know uses at least one form of social media, but adult women actually dominate over adult men in every aspect of social media, aside from LinkedIn. I can’t say I’m surprised!

According to Financeonline.com’s infographic (created by RubyMediaCorporation.com) the number one form of social media used by both men and women is Facebook. Which I’m sure any one of you would have guessed. 76 percent woman opposed to 66 percent men. I wonder what the selfie percentage is at?

Tumblr is used by 54 percent women and 46 percent men. I personally don’t have a tumblr, but judging by the numbers it is pretty popular!

The largest Gap of 25 percent between men and women belongs to Pinterest. This is by far the most addicting of all the social media outlets. It’s so endless. It’s also my personal favorite! 33 percent of women belong to Pinterst while only 8 percent of men do!

I was actually shocked to find out that Instagram beat out Twitter for the amount of Adults who use it. I thought it was more of a teenage thing. But 20 percent women and 15 percent men use it!

And the smallest gap between men and women belongs to Twitter! 18 percent of woman use it versus 17 percent men.

Last but not least the male dominated Linked In! This is the business heavy form of Social Media, that I am just beginning to build my own network in. You can get a lot of great advice from people who have been in your field much longer than you have! While only 19 percent of Women use is 24 Percent of men do.
